BCCL Launches BrandPotion.com - Brand Driven Networking Site

Bennett, Coleman and Company Limited (BCCL), the publisher of The Times of India newspaper, has launched BrandPotion.com, a brand driven networking site.
BrandPotion will enable marketers to involve consumers in creating ads and also seek user generated advertising. The website will also allow consumers to follow their favourite brands, create profiles, upload photos and videos and build their own networks.
In order to use BrandPotion.com, marketers will first need to create a brand page on the site. They can then use their brand page to conduct contests, asking consumers to be a part of the ad development process.
Here the users get the chance to communicate directly with the brands you use. The users can provide better insights into what makes their favourite brands and products work and can even win great prizes by participating in surveys and other promotions.
BCCL is even thinking of charging advertisers for their ‘brand pages’ on the site.
